Steve Knopper
Steve Knopper is a Denver-based writer who covers the music business for Rolling Stone magazine and writes about pop culture, travel, and other topics for the Chicago Tribune, Newsday, and the Rocky Mountain News, among others. He has lived off and on in Colorado for more than 20 years, including a stint in the 1990s as a pop music writer for the Boulder Daily Camera. His last book was The Complete Idiots Guide to Starting a Band, co-written with his Denver Neighbor Mark Bliesener, manager of Big Head Todd and the Monsters.
